Moding it up

Fred Perry has held an iconic status with British fashionites since 1952 when he released the very first Polo Shirt. Having previously adapted Tibby Wegner's design to create the very first sweat band, the British tennis ace turned his hand to fine tuning the initial design for the Polo Shirt, something which in retrospect he did very very well.

Ever since that day in 1952 the Fred Perry Polo Shirt hasn't changed an awful lot. It's been worn adoringly by mods for over 40 years and has recently become accepted as a must have product as a resurgence of the mods styling has taken control of the countries youth.

The modern day mods look has evolved somewhat when compared to that of the crew from the 70's. A straight leg dark denim jean is favoured with a buttoned up Fred Perry Polo Shirt and accompanying double breasted coat. The footwear is usually a smarter shoe or can simply be a plimsoll if it is worn in the correct style and of course...never forget the scooter!

All these looks can be shopped for at Fallen Hero which has a complete collection of everything Fred Perry you could ever want! Happy moding.
